Hi!

I have a (relatively) old GeForce4 4200 VGA card and planning on
buying a second LCD monitor. The problem is that the native resolution
is 1680×1050 and there's no mention of this rez anywhere in the
documentation. The closest one is 1600x1024.
Is there anyway to force the card to match the native LCD resolution
(using a DVI cable)?

Thanks in advance!

Rui

Install the monitor *.inf files (commonly called drivers) and it will appear
as one of the resolutions

I have a GeForce Ti4200 and it was quite capable of driving my 1680x1050
LCD without any problems. This was via DVI.

So I see no reason why yours' wouldn't be able to do the same.

Patrick.
