A friend wants to upgrade his machine which has a 7AIV5 mobo with a 950MHz
AMD Duron. He hasn't got much money so he's looking at getting some more RAM
and a faster processor rather than replacing the whole mobo/cpu/fan/ram
package.

However, according to the mobo manual, it only supports Duron and Athlon up
to 1.2GHz. Would he see a noticable difference between the 950 Duron and a
1.2 Athlon or is it just not worth it?

Cheers,

Mogweed.
