I have two known good WD scsi hdd (self terminating) that I've moved
from a older system, where they were the boot devices, into a new pc
with the ECS 848P-A mobo. There are no other hdd, but an IDE CDRW. These
two scsi hdd are running off an LSUI160 controller. The controller sees
the hdd. I get the same boot menu that I did when the two hdd were
installed in an older pc. However, trying to boot into win2k fails with
BSOD "inaccessible boot device". I figured that this was because too
many hardware changes occured around the existing win2k installation so
I was going to install fresh. But very quickly into the setup routine
for win2k I'm told that setup cannot continue because there are no hdd
present. Can anyone tell me what is going on here?
