Hi,it's me,the pest,back again.I went through the bios,mainly checking and
going by the manual.Everthing seemed to be fine,so i chose "load optomized
defaults" and then "save & exit" the red box appears, with a "Y?" flashing. At
this point it's locked up and requires the 3key salute or a hard reset.Using
F10 also locks it up.I tried "failsafe defaults" with the same
result. However,it appears to be saved to cmos, and operating normally, except
that when it boots,I get "Caution the cpu has been changed.",telling me to
go back in and fix it,and don't for get to save and exit.I hit F1 and it
contines to load. When it locks up ,it posts code OA which deals with keboard
and mouse,or 27,initializeINT 09 buffer.???
Any suggestions?..............Ed

Cranky BIOS? Have you tried resetting it with the jumper?

Had the same problem: simply update the bios to the latest version and
you will save your bios configuration on exit.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
