I just installed an Asus 64MB Geforce 2 MX400 on my VA-503+ (k6-2 500,
128MB ram, WIN98SE, JE439 bios, nvidia ref drivers). It seems to be
running fine although the screen blanks out for a second (completely
black) and returns to normal once every 3 days or so. I'm using v3.52
AGP driver in normal mode, but my nvidia driver says my system's running
1xAGP although I have the 2X enabled in the BIOS.

I don't know if I should try another AGP driver coz I'm not sure if this
viagart runs correctly. Which version AGP driver is considered the best
to run on the VA-503+?

Kyle is correct. "Normal" mode is AGP 1x, "Turbo" enables higher speeds.
The choice of words is confusing, so VIA got rid of these words in later
4-in-1 releases.

I am running the latest 4-in-1 version (4.51) on a VA-503A + Geforce4 MX
420. All seems to work fine.
