Kyle is correct. "Normal" mode is AGP 1x, "Turbo" enables higher speeds.
The choice of words is confusing, so VIA got rid of these words in later
4-in-1 releases.
I am running the latest 4-in-1 version (4.51) on a VA-503A + Geforce4 MX
420. All seems to work fine.
