Post subject: AIW 8500.. worth upgrading to the new AIW?

We have 8500s in our machines at home.. Looks like there might be some nice
new upgrades in the latest AIw.. any opinions? Looks like they added some
tivo like functionality, tv soap, and looks like there are also some nice 3d
speed enhancements.

We run 2.6 gig p4 machines here.. will we really see any gaming
enhancements?

UPGRADING FOR WINDOWS - My Dad is looking to upgrade his Videocard. He is not a gamer. He currently has a ATI Radeon 7000ve. His system is an Athlon 2.0+ with 512mb Ram. Is there any advantage for him if he switches video cards? And if there are what would you recommend. ....
