Sounds like a hacker's solution which leaves ATi off the hook for a
defective fan! Or is it a sure-fire solution to my fan's noise/speed
problem?

If they got ALL of them back with this problem maybe they'd spec out a
BETTER fan?!? Thoughts?

Nothing is sure fire, at least I never go in thinking that. Dirty fans
can be noisy, and have speed issues. Is it related to your fan?.. who
knows. Other than the......... Shadow

I sent a RMA request to ATi and got the number. The fan was, in fact,
stopped when I checked it last. I guess as long as I'm not taxing the video
system too badly the heat won't hurt it -- at least as far as ATi's
concerned, they'll repair whatever is wrong with it when they get it back
Smile

I'd sure like to see the HDTV Wonder/AIW 9600 combo release -- I'd buy one
in a flash and THEN send my 9000Pro back for fan repair...
