I have some Problems with this MB! The newest Message: "Bad_Pool_Caller".
What is the Reason for this Error? Can someone tell me?
My Config: Athlon XP 2600+, PC3200, ATI Radeon 9000, WD 800BB, 400W Power,
The CPU and the Memory are Jumpered with 166(333) Mhz (synchron).
Under Win 98 SE there are no problems but with xp the Stability of this MB
is very bad!

I had a lot of trouble installing XP on mine. Win98 worked OK. After many
changes to get XP to work, including swapping out RAM, I got a random
restart today! Damn, I thought I got it working. Oh well. My AB48, Intel
Chipset and Celeron 1.7 for my son's pc works great. I guess I will stick
with Intel Chipsets and Intel processors in the future.

AK39N feedback - This is just an "in general" topic question; Other than removing the jumper on the board to bump up the FSB to 266, does anybody have any suggestions or "discoveries" on how to increase performance on the AK39N board? I got a stick o...

All you AK39N owners... - I just checked the Newegg prices for the AK39N. Newegg has the AK39N listed at 266/333FSB (they used to list it at 266 tops). If you go to the Shuttle website they still have the 39N as topping out at 266FSB. I can't understand how it could be a typo o...

AK39N, doesn't recognize the bus freq - I just replaced a burned out mobo and power supply with a new AK39N. All seems well except the mobo recognizes the CPU as 100mhz and it is 133mhz AMD 1000. When I go to the frequency setup in bios it only lets me change it to 132, not 133. Is that OK?...

AK39N, can't get Windows XP to load - I have an AK39N, Athlon 1000, 256megs DDR/266, new 40 gig Maxtor, ATI Rage 128 pro AGP. I tried fixing a bad WinME install by upgrading to XP home. It didn't recognize the previous ME install. So, I bought a new 40 gig drive and tried a fresh install....

AK-39N still having problems - Hi, I am still having trouble with my AK39N. I have a new Enlight Power supply, new DDR RAM, new 40gig maxtor drive, and new 1.3 Duron proc. I have run the maxblast software to partition and format. I start the XP install and I get IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR..
