When my AK77 600GN boots the SATA RAID BIOS appears and the following
appears with it
Scan devices, Please wait...
press <Tab> key into user window!

I have not got any SATA HDDs installed, I have tried everything to get pass
this screen, USB keyboard does nothing, (plan to try PS/2) tried different
IDE HDDs, different cables, CDROMS, RAM, PSU, to solve this but have got
nowhere, in the manual it says u can disable this but u can't! except with a
BIOS update which I can't as I can't load from floppy, CDROM, I have also
tried clearing the CMOS, didn't work. would taking the battery out help?
Anybody got anything else for me to try?

Any replys, thanks

At least on my MAX version of the board, it goes past that screen
automatically. Even without any drives connected.

I think there's a setting in the bios to enable USB keyboard support,
is that on?
