I just installed a new AN35-N Ultra. It is showing my Athlon 2100+ as a
2700+. I having the settings set to "Optimal". I have 3 256 meg sticks of
Corsair PC2100 installed too. BIOS is AN35S00C.

I'm also getting a BSOD when I try to install Win XP Pro, but I think it's a
crapped out HD as it is making a clicking noise. Although I get a BSOD with
another HD too. I suppose they could both be crap. I'm going to get a new
HD tomorrow to throw in there.

My big concern is the wrong speed showing. Is this a big problem? How do I
fix it?

what it looks like is that your bd. is running the cpu at 166mhz bus speed.
you are lucky for a cpu that will run at 2166.66mhz. now if you would just
change the memory to pc2700 are up the ram voltage. if you want a 2100 then
in bios make sure the buss speed it 133 but you may get that brand of memory
to run at 166 with some timing changes or voltage increase.

Could the "overclocked" speed be causing the BSOD when trying to install
Windows?

I flashed the BIOS to the latest, and set the fsb to 133. Now the cpu shows
up at the correct speed and no more BSOD...
