My problem:

I've got a AN7 mobo and 2 512MB-CL2,5-DDR400-Twinmos sticks.
Abit manual says:
We suggest you to install DDR SDRAM modules from DIMM3 to DIMM1 in
order.

If I put one stick alone in the mobo,
each stick is running fine in slot 3,
but not in slot 2 or slot 1 (PC gets unstable, CPU-Burn runs only a
few seconds).

If I put both sticks in my mobo (equal if in slot 1&2, or 1&3 or 2&3),
PC gets unstable.

Is my mobo defect?
What should I do?

System:
BIOS 1.3
WinXP Pro
latest chipset drivers from abit-homepage installed

bye, Peter

Increase Vdimm (memory voltage) with both sticks installed. If you want
dual channel (and I'm sure you do), use slots 1&3 or 2&3. Slots 1&2 are
on one channel and slot 3 is the other channel.
