Is there any group that is specifically discussing ASRock boards?

If not that... where is the second best for finding experienced ASRock
users?

Thanks!

I have had very negative experiences with ASRock motherboards. For example,
A friend of mine asked me to fix his PC. It was only one year old, and had
all new parts in it when it was purchased. Turned out that the ASRock
motherboard was dead.

I tried out 3 other ASRock motherboards (used) that were sent one-by-one to
me by an eBay seller. Every one of them was dead too. Luckily the seller was
honest, and gave me a full refund. I then went with an ECS K7S5A Pro
motherboard, and was able to get the PC working again.

Granted that I was trying used motherboards, but I suggest you avoid ASRock.
I have purchased and installed many used motherboards, but never encountered
a brand so consistently bad. If you do buy one, make sure you can return it.

I recently bought a new ASRock board (K7V88) which I'm very pleased with.
Normally go with Abit but due to funds I tried the cheaper make. I bought it
from an ebay dealer with fan/hs and XP3200 CPU for £120. To be honest it was
so cheap new that I can't imagine why anyone would buy a second hand one -
and you get all the leads with a new one!
