This is coming from a senior citizen newbie, so please answer in two
syllable words. I have installed my VE card and loaded the software
from the accompanying CD. Watching TV works fine, but I get into
trouble when I try to close the program. It freezes, and I can't close
even with the Task Manager. Therefore, I also can't close XP unless I
shut off the computer. Can someone tell me in simple terms how to fix
this?
Thanks,
Saul

right click desktop>properties>settings:Advanced .....

in there do you have an option for "VPU Recover"?

Generally for gaming it (I have been recently informed) should be turned
off.... but in your instance it might seem like an option.
It will force the Vid card to reset itself in the event of a crash, without
the need for resetting computer.
