Post subject: AX34 II AGP Questions
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>aopen (more info?)

I have an older (5 yrs) AX34 II P3 1GHZ main board that supports AGP
2x and would like to upgrade my 32 mb card but I can't figure out if
the AGP slot is AGP 2.0 or 3.0 (or if it makes any difference.) Aopen
site isnt much help. Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

Also, while checking devise mgr (running XP Prof) it shows that the
card resides in PCI slot #1 but it is physically in the AGP slot! Is
that just devise mgr being confused or is that something that needs to
be addressed when I install the new card and DM still shows it to be
in PCI slot #1 (if that happens.)

Again, thanks for any help y'all can offer.
