Hello Smile I bought a Vivicam 35 several months ago. It worked great on

my last computer; however when I put the CD into my new one (Acer) I
keep
getting an error message; therefore unable to use the camera. I
reconnected my last computer to see if I had the same problem, however
the CD worked fine. Does anyone know what could be wrong; or a site
that I can ask for support?

Thanks,
Eve

Thanks so much for your help. I had to switch computers as I had modem
problems as well as the ongoing "blue screen" while attempting to find
the modem. This new computer (Acer) accepted everything except for the
Vivicam 35 CD. Thanks again for your help..much appreciated Smile

Most likely the problem is with the combination of the CD and the CD drive
in the Acer.

Some CD drives have a too weak laser and can not read borderline CDs.

If you have the two computers networked, you can share the CD drive on the
computer that can read the CD, Read the CD drive via the network on the
Acer.

Or you can swap the two CD drives. Put the one that can read the CD into the
Acer.
