Whether you believe it or not...yer a troll.

You really didn't need our advice.

Have a nice one...

Because I have pity for someone who will be stuck with
something in appropriate for a long time based on a few
misconceptions, let me clear up this misconception you have
shown above.

Gaming box

Higher heat and power load from video, and continuous CPU
loads mean case needs more airflow and power supply needs be
more robust. It will make Athlon 64 a superior performance
choice. It will make nForce4 SLI the best long-term
performance potential. It will make low-latency memory more
beneficial for highest framerates. The overall shift of
emphasis is on pushing performance levels with lower margin
for stability. A gaming box generally does NOT have same
lifespan as a box used for word processing if made of same
components, and might not need to for a fixed budget, as the
gaming box will be obsolete and need replaced far sooner.
It might also be beneficial to have front audio jacks on the
game, and front USB. Most cases have them, but some don't-
it is a consideration.

Word Processing box

Emphasis on reduced noise levels, means picking components
which are at the lower-end of the voltage per process-size
curve. Motherboard with passive heatsink. CPU heatsink
with low RPM fan. Motherboard that accomodates larger
heatsink and fan. Case with power buttons near the top so
it can be more easily accessed under a desk. More $ spent
on the case and fans, a word-processing box bought today
will have a viable lifespan determined by it's hardware
failures, not performance limits. This being within the
mentioned, tight budget. For higher cost one can have such
things in either a WP or game box.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
