If I boot from a WinXP floppy, will there be enough memory to flash my 8kha+
BIOS? I recall from a few years ago that one almost had to boot from an
MS-DOS boot disk to have enough free memory for the flash program to work.

Thanks.

Yes. XP does make an msdos boot disk. To make sure, go ahead and delete
all files on the boot disk except command.com and io.sys and msdos.sys.
Then put the bios files on it and flash away.
