I just bought my first digital camera (a canon s230elph) and I have a
question.
- Should you take the battery out of the camera each night?
Or is it o.k. to leave it in, even if you don't use it everyday?
Thanks

No, leave the battery in the camera.

The clock in the camera will lose the time and date in about one hour after
removing the battery. Check your manual on setting the clock.

You should have a spare set of rechargeable NiMH batteries, so that you can
have one set in the camera while the second set is charging.

O.k. Thanks. That makes sense. I didn't even think about it affecting the
clock. Thanks again.
