I've updated my Gigabyte K8NS bios from F6 to F17. The update seems to
have terminated successfully (message appear).
Unfortunately I'm not able to boot my PC.
During the boot process screen remains black and the motherboard repeats
a long beep. I've tried to reset cmos first with the jumper and after
unplugging the battery, but nothing happened. Is there a way to solve
this problem? If not, the only solution is change the motherboard?

Thanks Davide

i have a similar problem, ive upgraded a GA7IXEH R1 to R3 and now my hard
disk is not detected.

Is there any way to reset the bios to r1?
is there a jumper on the motherboard that does this.I need to revert back to
original version.

Very annoying
