CANON Powershot S50 or OLYMPUS C-5000: Some help, please

Well... I already know that you should answer: "Depend whats your need
and main objective".
Basically I am looking for the best Image Quality, basically for Art
and Portrait. i was checking Steve, Dp, Image Resource etc..but still
have not decided..any help???
