Post subject: CD drive won't read CDs... busted?
Archived from groups: comp>sys>ibm>pc>hardware>cd-rom (more info?)

I have a CD drive here that, when a CD is inserted, it spins as if
reading it but doesn't recognize that a CD is in the drive. Could the
laser head be dirty or busted or...? And what's the best way to tell?
Thanks in advance!
