Just bought a 10-pack of Optimum cd-r's & placed now 3 in my drive & they are all showing blue = No space, running winxp Home on a Compaq Presario AMD Athlon 3400+ operating at 2.4GHz & a 48x max. CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive (48x32x16x48x). Have never had a problem with it. Shows up in device manager my computer etc, The only thing I have not done is put a different cd-r not from this package. How do you fit an 800 meg file on a cd? - I've downloaded some large files over the internet that I would like archive to a cd, but they are around 800 megs for a single file... Is there some way to edit the file or even to cut off the end to make it fit on a cd? Thanks! Ter

about the dw-u10a - Hey there, i just got the drive the other day and hada few problems with it. I don't know if it was the media i was using or the drive but I decided to flash it first from the dw-u10a firmware to the dru-500a firmware, as they are the same..
