Post subject: CPU & Heat Sink

I have an AMD Athlon cpu I am going to install on my new motherboard and
I don't know if the heat compound is supposed to be applied to the whole
CPU or just the little raised square in the middle.

I know if I don't get it right the CPU can fry.

Just apply a *thin* coating to the CPU die (the little raised square in
the middle Smile ).
