Can someone tell me what the largest CPU I can put into my motherboard?
The link below is the manufacturers specs.
One more question. I've been having trouble getting my video to work on
a cold startup. Someone in another group suggested that I might need a
bigger PSU. Can anyone here second that opinion?

Here are my system specs:
Motherboard: Biostar M6VLR (Can someone check out this page and tell me
what the largest cpu I can put into it? Here is the link
(
http://www.biostar.com.tw/products/mainboard/socket_370/m6vlr/index.php3?nam
e=M6VLR )
CPU: Pentium III 800 Megahertz ( would like to double it )
PSU: 300 watts
Memory: 512mb PC133 SDRAM ( will double it )
Sound Card: Phillips 5.1 surround sound with big honkin speakers Wink
Video Card: GeForce 4 MX 440 SE PCI
Harddrive: Western Digital 60 gig running Windows 2000 Pro
+
Cd Burner
and soon
CD rom drive and possible a dvd burner

So for now do I really need a bigger power source?

Thanks for all your help,
Bob

Bob,

The best you could do is a Tualatin 1.4GHz Pentium III or
Celeron.

On video problem, there may be a setting in the BIOS for Init
Display First: AGP/PCI. Just confirm that it is set to PCI.

IMHO, your current system should be fine with a 300w power
supply.

Good luck.
