My Olympus200 has packed up so i need a new camera.
Ive however become interested in owning a camcorder instead. Any ideas on
whether camcorders can also take fairly decent stills?.
I like the idea of having both facilities. My olympus took small quicktime
movie clips but they were crap

The first review gave it a 9.0 for "Still Pictures," and I hadn't yet
seen the second review. I guess it's always good to get a second
opinion!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
