Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>dcameras (more info?)

I just picked up a canon G5 camera to give the wife for Christmas and was
contemplating on getting an external charger to go with it but the price
being asked for the Canon brand put a lump in my throat.
I did find one at Sterlingtek for $20 but was curious what you guys thought
about it, get what you pay for?

Also I was curious as to your thoughts on Crucial CF cards, I was thinking
about ordering the 256MB along with their $17 CF reader.

The wife used to have a Nikon FM camera and loved it till it was stolen and
I'm not very familiar with cameras myself so any help would be appreciated.

Rick
