Case with 3 fans, MB only one plug for turn-on lead(?)

I have a case with 3 fans. Each fan has a power connection and another
small wire which I'm guessing is the turn-on lead. Is there a way to
get these all hooked up if the motherboard only has one place to plug
this wire?

Like I said before, the third lead is just used to measure fan-speed.
Just get a Y connector to plug it into one of the drive Molex
connectors. It'll run fine.

Since the motherboard doesn't have the connector to measure fan-speed
for more than two fans (CPU and Chassis) any other fans you connect just
won't show up on the monitor. They'll RUN just fine though.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do here......The mobo diagram has all the
fan leads listed, CPU, case fans, sys fans, etc. some have more spots than
others. If I were you, I'd hook them up straight to the molex conection,
using a variable speed fan to control the spin. If your mobo only has one
spot for a fan/w monitor, just use that one and power the others direct. Are
you trying to make quiet, or what?

Oh so those other two will just run constantly? I was thinking they
all run only when needed.

It's pretty much they *all* run constantly.
Some motherboards (OK, most these days) have the *option* of reducing
speed on fans. Rarely do they shut them off completely. Most people
run them at full speed anyway; because the electronics runs cooler.
