Sorry, Anna - I'm a complete wuß when it comes to new
operating systems and hardware. I tend to hang onto the
Trailing Edge of technology. Maybe this double-post will raise
someone else who can answer intelligently. (Oddly, TimeWarner's
news server doesn't allow posting to the MS Vista NGs.)
I do know, though, that the Support personnel at Future Systems
Solutions has always been helpful and prompt in answering my
email. Try them at Support DeleteThis @FSSdev.com .

best cloning method? - I'm beyond aggravated. I've upgraged dozens of hard drives in the past using the floppy to format the new drive and copy the original drive over to the new one. Apparently the days of simplicity are over. I tried using the Maxtor Maxblast software..

Cloning software - I used Acronis True Image to clone my old HDD too. You should Plug old HDD as slave> start the program, and it'll automatically transfer everything to a new disk. It's really convenient and reliable software.
