Cheapy good digital camera for 11 year old?

Hi all

My daughter wants a camera for her birthday, so fine, but what to get.
I have a Canon S3 which is good for me but will not let her near it

So I am after a reasonable cheapish digital camera that is easy to use,
smallish in size - anyone have any recommendations

Go to Wal-Mart or Target or Kmart and get a digital camera your daughter can
use.
There are lots of choices. You will just have to hold the camera in your
hand and get one in your price range.

Better, give her a gift certificate for the amount of money you are willing
to spend on her camera.
