about the dw-u10a - Hey there, i just got the drive the other day and hada few problems with it. I don't know if it was the media i was using or the drive but I decided to flash it first from the dw-u10a firmware to the dru-500a firmware, as they are the same..

Short of buying a CD cleaning kit, is there a simple economical way to
remove a fingerprint from a CD using any household items I already have
on-hand? The fingerprint is making the CD partially unreadable.

A simple soft and dry cloth, rubbing radially from the center to the rim. A
fingerprint won't damage the surface, but a not careful rubbing will.
