Corrupted harddisk

There is message:
Bootsector at 00000001 cannot be read!
Does somebody have experience how-to fix this?
I do not have safety copy, so i don't want gues.

Files should be recovered by copying to another disk. When bad sectors
are present, it can be difficult to plan the optimal strategy, but one
option is to attempt to copy the files using Findpart, assuming you
have room for the files on a partition on another disk. As example the
command to attempt to copy all (not system and not deleted) files from
the 18998 MB partition to current directory and below will be:

findpart findntfs 2 2575 0 1 copy

(disk number, cylinder, head, sector - from Findpart "Start CHS")

Just curious when does those bad sectors came,
and to know how should do next time.
I reboot with W2K and that does not start,
after reset I start WinXP which made automatic chkdsk
and told about bad sectors.
I just worder if that XP made those bad sectors?

btw how you get rid of spam?

and some contoller chip was overheated. My HD was somehow
corrubted."

There can be a connection, since at least some bad sectors are the
result of the disk not being able to protect itself against usage and
environment not following the specifications.

My current mail provider offers a spam filter. The viruses I filter
locally. I however will not recommend that a casual usenet user uses
his normal email address.

Hello, Svend:

To combat spam, I'd recommend MailWasher <http://www.mailwasher.net>,
a freeware program that is full-featured and quite effective. I've been
using it, for over nine months, and it's helped me manage the tons of
junk e-mails I'm constantly bombarded with (easily 300+ messages,
daily).
