I have a Asus P5GD2 motherboard. I have installed 4 x 512MB (Kingston)
cards. The system detects only 1024MB of memory when it should detect
2GB of memory. I have downloaded the newest BIOS version in my
motherboard as well. I am not sure if everything 100% OK in the BIOS
settings as I am not very good with it. I have looked and didn't notice
anything out of its place.

If anyone has some sort of clue what could be done please help me!
Thanks!

What are the part numbers printed on the modules ?

Are the chips visible on the module ? You could also
read the numbers off one of the chips and post those
here as well.

Maybe you have 4 x 256MB ?
