From my Omnikey Plus manual:

1,2,3,4 up for an AT PS/2 or 100% compatible
7,8 up to make top row Fkeys send standard F1-F12
7 down, 8 up to make top row Fkeys send Shift + Fkey
7,8 down to make top row Fkeys send Ctrl + Fkey
7 up, 8 down to make top row Fkeys send Alt + Fkey
6 up for normal use, down for Novell LAN
5 up for caps lock next to spacebar, ctrl next to A
5 down to interchange caps lock and ctrl<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Hi Bob,

Thanks much for your post.. I have one without cable and manual.
Mine is OmniKey Ultra, Part # 560,0020. All switches are up, i.e. off
as down on this keyboard is on. From your manual, it seems this one
is ready for PS/2 operation. I don't have a cable. I wonder if the
pinout is the same as standard PS/2. If so a male to male small din
plug cable would put me in business. Also there is a small push
button switch near the cable connector for which I have no idea is
for.

I picked mine up at a thrift store for a little of nothing!

Again thanks,

I think the Omnikey cable is standard.
