Post subject: Shuttle DVD-RW CR-40 Drive - Slow?
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>mainboard>shuttle, others (more info?)

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Shuttle DVD-RW CR-40 Drive to complement my
Shuttle computer.

Despite a good DVD ripping performance. The drive takes forever to rip
CD's to MP3's (non copy protected) and to verify files in Nero and
CDCheck.

Has anyone else notice the slow performance with this drive (especially
in comparison to my previous NEC Drive).

Thanks!
