Hi,

I would appreciate any advice; I'm using a Dazzle DVC100 which is connected
to the video recorder and to the PC which uses Windows XP, I am able to see
the video which I am wanting to record in the Pinnacle Instant Dvd Recorder
software on the PC with the sound.

But, once I record a clip and play it back on the PC there is no sound
whatsoever.

I can attach a PowerPoint slide if you like, showing how I have this
connected.

I would appreciate any advice on this matter.

It appears to have hardware MPEG encoding that then
transfers to the PC over USB. Are you certain the input
signal has audio on it?

The two most common reasons for no sound are that the input
recording line is not selected properly in the application,
or misconfigured in either windows multimedia properties or
the related sound card control panel provided with the sound
card driver.

A basic verbal description might suffice, though if you
already had the slide you might put it online and post a
link to it, not attaching it to the newsgroup message as
this is not a binary group.
