Post subject: Disable TV out to play DVD?

how do I disable TV out so I can play a DVD? I get an error message when the
DVD starts to play, it won't play with TV out enabled.
Biostar M7NCG 400 w/onboard geforce4 MX graphics.

Or if your DVD software allows, turn OFF hardware acceleration within the
software. This works too.
