Hello all,
My husband and I are going to be going to Montreal for vacation and I
was wondering about a device I saw. It is a CD burner which can burn the
contents of a CD card directly onto a CD without needing a computer. Has
anyone tried one? Any comments (good, bad, and ugly)? Any
recommendations as to brands?

Thanks for your help

There are several such devices available, but they are pretty pricey.
(Check Google)
A cheaper alternative when you are in a big city is to go to Kinko's (or
similar) and they will copy your card to a CD for about $10 US.

For about the same price you can pick up a laptop on ebay with a cd
burner that will do that.

The Roadstor seems to be the best:

There are several in the market. One made by Apacer had a review done by
Steve at the folowing:

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/disc_steno.html" target="_blank">http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/disc_steno.html</a>

but that one belongs to the earlier model. There is one newer model in the
market.. the CP-200. I have that one in mind.

Good luck.
