Post subject: EP-8KDA3I SATA PROBLEM

I have three 160gb PATA hard drives.I bought a PATA to SATA adapter for my
main drive.the problem is when I install the Nforce 3 ide driver it will not
boot.it freezes up when I can just see the Windows XP boot up screen.the
serial ATA does not like the drivers.can anyone help me?

Easy. Don't install the offending Nvidia IDE driver. This is a common
problem for this driver with some drives. I could never use it with Maxtor
drives.
