Has anyone tried these on a 9CJS Zenith?

Do they work and is there any news on what has been updated?

I was sitting here thinking no when I realised that the 07 album coming from
the speakers was in fact this driver which I installed last night so I can
confirm it does indeed work!

Is the sound "smoother" or my imigination? Not normally very impressed with
this onboard sound on the 9cjs......by comparison the sound on my SB 64
onboard my CT 6BAT3 is stunning!

I updated this driver onto 9CJS Zenith from MS-WinXP site two days ago.
It caused so many problems (very slow start, couldn't find my profile,
and very slow operating) - had to rollback the driver to fix it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Been using it since my post .......no problem?

Have no idea what you mean by slow start or profile?

The Envy24 driver at windows update conflicted with my system. It
caused the computer to lose my profile, putting me back to the winxp
default profile settings. It caused a very slow startup compared to the
startup before I installed it. I downloaded
"Envy24_Family_Driver_V302d" from the VIA site on 4/16 and installed
it. No conflicts and speedy startup. I guess I won't use the windows
update site for drivers anymore (I had a problem last year with the ATI
Radeon catalyst drivers at windows update, too.)

OK thanks....I`ll bear that in mind if I have similar problems!

Dont use a profile so maybe thats why I wasnt affected?

It might be an idea to tell chaintech support just to see what they say out
of curiosity?

They are very responsive and quick!
