Epson Photo PC shows pictures, but they can't be downloade..

Hi folks,

I have taken some pictures with my Epson Photo PC 800 (two 32 MB
CF-cards, one 8 MB CF-card). The camera can display all pictures I
have taken without an error. But if I'm using a card reader to
download the pictures (on Windows XP), no files are displayed in
Windows Explorer for the card. When I'm using a recovery tool like
"Digital Image Recovery" on the card, most of the pictures can be
recovered, but some are corrupt and others can't be recovered (I have
taken over 60 pictures on one card, but only 50 pictures are found
during recovery).

Any ideas? After all, the pictures can be displayed perfectly by the
camera, so there must be a way to recover them all.

By the way, I have lost my cable to connect the camera directly to the
pc, so i would by happy about a solution without using that cable.
