Hi,

I have a Fuji MX1700 and it was recently dropped about 2 feet onto a
carpet. The flash has not worked since then.

Does anyone know if this is repairable for reasonable cost - I'm in
the UK.

I strongly suspect Fuji UK will do you a free quote if you send them the
camera. I had my broken FP1400Z (smashed screen) repaired - turnaround was 4
days from door to door and camera was returned with a full 12mth warranty. Good
service & cost was very reasonable too.

Only you can decide if its cost effective though, given price of new cameras
these days it is always going to be debatable whether to just buy a new one!
