I've got a GeForce 2MX/MX 400 card and am running the latest drivers. I have
my widescreen TV hooked up to the composite video out on the card.

Once or twice, I've somehow got Media Player to automatically play video
files full screen on the TV. I don't mean by pressing "CTRL-RETURN" or using
the Media Player in full screen mode, I mean that on my PC monitor I had the
normal Windows display and the TV showed whatever file was playing in Media
Player.

I've fiddled with all the driver settings I can think of, but can't work out
how I did it! It's a really useful feature, so can someone out there please
let me know what on earth I did to get this working?

Thanks,
Michael Saunderson.

That is with the 56.72 drivers, and I'm using Dualview with the monitor as
the primary device. That was the only setting I seemed to have needed to
make - Auto-select at the bottom left on the Full Screen Video option
dialog. When I load up a video into WMP it plays in the WMP window on the
monitor, and full screen on the TV.

Thanks for the screenshot. I've the same drivers, but no auto settings.
I'll see why. Thanks for all, maybe my TV doesn't work properly with
these drivers.

Thanks, yes, that seems to do it mostly. Something I've found, though, is
that it works for some video files and not for others.

Any clever people out there got any idea why this would be? I'd guess it's
to do with different codecs, though I haven't investigated which
specifically seem to work yet.
