Post subject: G450 and KVM switch
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>matrox (more info?)

I have two computers with G450 video cards.
I use a KVM switch to connect the computers to the monitor.

Is there some way to switch off the detection of the monitor's
settings and capabilities, so I can boot the computers without having
them actually connected to the monitor?

Now, I have to switch the KVM, Starview 4 ports electronic, to the
respective computer, otherwise it will boot to a black screen.

It would be nice if I can just switch the computer on and switch the
monitor to it later.
