Will G550 work with the 875 chipset?

Hi,

My Asus motherboard (P4P800 Deluxe) is dead & I would like to buy a
motherboard with the 478( I have a cpu P4 2.4 & 4X256 DDR400 PC3200) & 875
chipset or 865 but all these boards have AGP 8X & the Matrox g550 is the
AGP is 2X/4X, is my card could work with this chipset?

I'm running a G450 with an 865 chipset, on an 8x agp slot. Your setup
will work just fine...just remember to set the agp slot to 4x in the
bios.
