Hi all.
I have just bought a Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Ultra and have fitted it in a
Skyhawk PSR5619 case (trendy aluminium with motorised front panel).
My problem is that the front panel USB and Firewire wires from the case
do not match the sockets on the board.
For the USB the two sockets are intended for 2 USB ports each, and
according to the manual the layout is:
*************
* 1 2 3 4 5 *
* 6 7 8 9 X *
*************
Where:
1=Power
2=USB Dy-
3=USB Dy+
4=GND
5=USB Over
6=Power
7=USB Dx-
8=USB Dx+
9=GND
X=blocked off
There are two front panel USB ports, wired like this:
*****
* 1 *
* 2 *
* 3 *
* 4 *
* 5 *
*****
Where:
1=VCC
2=USB+
3=USB-
4=GND
5=GND
Can I get an adaptor?
Do I have to rewire the case? I really don't want to do this as I
haven't a clue where to start!
Thanks in advance all.
