with Automatic Gain Control for 2.4 GHz wireless LANs. This unit
features an impressive 17 dB of receive gain. This unit installs
indoors near the radio itself, combining plug-and-play ease of
installation with significant improvement in operating range and
performance.

Designed for extending the range of 2.4 GHz wireless radio devices,
the Smart-Amp is particularly effective when used with Direct Sequence
or Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (DS/FHSS) radio modems. The unit
provides the transmit power amplification as well as receive signal
gain.

The built-in power sensor in SmartAmps adjusts the Radio Frequency
(RF) power output level by reading the input signal power. The auto
gain adjustment delivers the maximum output power at various input
levels while keeping distortion to a minimum. This amplifier will
