after a month or so they replied and gave me a new bios for my mobo!
The bios fixed nothing, the GTS site only allows one reply and no edit.

that's impressive...

same problem with me, I have an 8gpnxp-duo with memory frequency problem,
they can't solve the problem in the bios.
Theire answer is that they don't support overclocking but in the manual they
discribe how to set memory frequency to 3 times host clock. However my
memory supports 666Mhz, I can't enable this function in the bios.

my 7VT600P-RZ problems are:
1) keyboard power-on password does not work in the morning (first start)
2) STR(S3) is not waking up properly (hangs)
3) onboard Lan port "flickers" data even the system is pwr-off and WOL is
disabled in the bios.

their response was - they never heard of the 1,2 problem! Yeah, maybe not
many around using this at all. The apologised for problem 3 - this is a
design flaw (after talking to their R&D department)
Looks like Gigabyte quality is going down the drain. Otherwise the board
works flawless but these minor problems are not excusable.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
