I have a Hewlett Packard a720n running an ASUS a7v8x-la motherboard:

http://www.e4allinc.info/dir1/motherboards/socketa/a7v8x_la.htm

I'm thinking about buying the ATI All In Wonder Radeon 9600 & installing
to this board.
I have the All in Wonder 7500 on my ASUS A7M266 board & never had a
problem with it except it's analog & it's time to update.... ;0)

Anyone experienced this card before on this board? I'd like to actually
use both video adapters, is that possible to keep both enabled so that I
can hook up an additional moniter?

Thanks for any feedback..........

am not sure..but I believe once you insert an AGP card the on-board graphics
automatically disables.

I have an a620n, (same Motherboard) and if I remember correctly, it will
disable the onboard video with the insertion of the videocard. I believe
that you have to select which video you want in the BIOS also...

Interesting, thank you.....I'd definitely explore this. I should just
shell out the $$ & just get the 9800 but will research some more...

Onboard Video for TUSL2 - Anyone know how to change the amount of memory used by the onboard video on the Asus TUSL2 (not -C or other)? I don't see it anywhere in the BIOS and it is currently allocating a meager 1MB. Tx, mdp

Asus A8N-VM CSM, no video output on onboard video - I installed this mainboard yesterday and I came across a few problems: First I thougth that my power supply (300 Watt) was not sufficient. It turned out that the 20-pins plug did fit in the 24 pins connector on the mainboard and that I had to connect..

any core 2 duo motherboard with onboard video? - I just need 2d processing, so I don't care if the 3d part is SLOW. the old ati xpress 200 and geforce 6150 did it (even with DVI!). It comes in especially useful when I want to drive a 3-monitor setup. alas, I have yet to see a board that takes both..

Video for A8N-E - Hello, Wich low cost video card for a A8N-E ?

no video - when a motherboard powers on but wont put out a video signal from the agp or pci or onboard, even when its stripped to sitting on the box with just cpu/ram/psu/video card its a bad mobo isn't it?
