Post subject: Hard disk. Help needed

My computer is IBM?, using windows 2000 professional.
When I want to reinstall the system, and press F11 as required, the recopuration program does not respond. When the system atempts to boot, it moves direct to a blue screen and there I am told to press F7 for the ACPI. When I do that, nothing changes. I don't know what to do to reinstall this system.
When I transfar the harddisk to anther computer, it boots.
