Post subject: Help! Transfer of RealPlayer Music from one system to another.
Archived from groups: alt>comp>hardware>homebuilt (more info?)

I was recently given a computer from my father-in-law in which I
intended to wipe the hard drive and set it up for an
informational/school use system for my kids. RealPlayer had some
music selections which I put on a disk to transfer to my
father-in-laws new system. While on the original computer, I can
insert the disk and play the music selections on the computer. His
new system does not even show that the selections are on the disk,
much less, allow me to transfer them to his RealPlayer on the new
system. Please help.

Tim

Do they they show up in Explorer? It *may* have something to do with DRM
(Digital Rights Management).
